Dr. Esperanto
Ludwik Lejzer Zamenhof Dutch also called: Lodewijk Lazarus Zamenhof) (Bialystok, December 15, 1859 – Warsaw, April 14, 1917) was a Polish born ophthalmologist of Jewish origin, philologist, but became best known as the founder of the auxiliary language Esperanto. The name of this language comes from his pseudonym Dr. Esperanto.
A philologist is someone who deals with dead languages.
